Super Food Energy
My 5 year old tabby cat frequently throws up his cat food a few hours after he eats it.?
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to eat! I give him 2 large cans of super market brand cat food a day. One in the AM and one at dinner time. He likes to play with his toys and has lots of energy, but this has me concerned. Can someone give me a professional opinion? Thanks!
I have one that regularly throws up after eating, although he usually doesn't wait a few HOURS to do so.
He does it because he eats TOO much TOO quickly. I allow my cat to "free-feed" and he just simply over does his eating.
Try cutting back the amount of food he eats at a given time. Not the TOTAL amount of food, but allow him to eat, say, half the can full and remove the dish. Then, hours later, put down the food again and allow him to eat. This way he won't have too much in his stomach and the likelihood of his throwing up will hopefully be diminished.
