My girlfriend is thinking of taking them as weight loss alternative. I definitely do not agree with that but I would like to see some actual research behind these. Please post any links or information regarding this but do not include any specific names of products or website that are offering those pills for sale. Those websites rarely give credible information.

Weight loss should not be seen as a fad diet and exercise routine, but must be seen in terms of permanent changing your eating habits. This is because the point of it is the changes that you reach over several months and even years persist. What is meant by this is, you switch your carbs and eat fewer products such as white bread and white rice and instead them you should eat more whole grains such as wholemeal bread, whole grain brown rice, millet, quinoa and barley. By eating these you more energy and a higher fiber content, which means that you feeling fuller for longer will have.
The introduction of small changes, like the above in your diet you will lose weight and generally feel more healthy energy you more likely to follow your healthy weight loss plan, which shows that a change of lifestyle is much better than a diet so keep that in mind when you think the best way to lose weight!
