35 yrs old, hair loss in patches, weight loss, HELP!!?
patches of my hair is falling out, lost 17 lbs since October, my doctor done the whole blood work thing, focusing on thyroid mainly, everything was perfectly normal. was refered to dermatologist, I go this month. Anybody with any ideas, please!!
have been under alot of stress, my husband and myself had to change jobs and struggling with money of course. Dr. didn't say anything about minerals or vitamins, but I will ask about that.
Well with the big weight loss in a small time, my guess is malnutrition of some sort. You really need a CT scan of your abdomen to make sure you don't have some sort of intestinal problem, especially since the bloodwork came back ok. Something is definitely wrong. I really don't think that a dermatologist will be able to do anything. You need an endocrinologist or a hematologist to rule out cancer.

Sounds interesting, is not. But these patches really work? And are they safe?
